Easter Island
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter. Here in Australia and New Zealand we get to have Good Friday and Easter Monday off work so our Easter really is a holiday or holy day depending on what you believe.
So, that means I have four days off work to eat chocolate. Actually, as good as that sounds, I have packing to do.
Yes, that is right friends I am, finally, preparing for the big move into my own place. I can’t begin to tell you how much I am looking forward to this.
My new home is a two bedroom delight about 100 metres or so from the beach and less than ten minutes walk to restaurants and shops. Half an hour drive to work and closer to my friends; it has it all.
The spare room will be my gym so I can get back to more intense exercise and weight training…looking forward to that. Walking a plenty with beach and walking tracks nearby.
It feels as though it has taken an eternity to get to this point, lots of heartache, tears, doubt, but I still believe this is for the best and what I must do. Separation is not an easy thing, no matter how you go about it, and I don’t recommend living together during that process unless absolutely necessary.
All that aside the big day is looming and then shortly thereafter a trip to my homeland to see family, for what will be by then a well needed break.
So, as I said, a safe and happy Easter to you all.
