It’s official, Australians are less inhibited than our British counterparts.
A couple has been photographed ‘making out’ in the giant revolving observation wheel known as the Southern Star located in Melbourne, Australia. The Southern Star is a similar concept to the giant wheel called the London Eye or Millennium Wheel found in UK, however the Southern Star is somewhat smaller and has less ‘pods’.
The Southern Star was opened on 20 December 2008 and the couple were photographed on 8 January 2009. This means the Southern Star was ‘christened’ in under three weeks. By comparison the Brits took approximately seven months to ‘road test’ their wheel.
What I find really strange is that some geeky photographer appeared to have been stalking the wheel in wait for this very thing. I find it a little hard to believe this just happened whilst someone with a camera was about. What a cynical thing I am, but I think this is possibly staged, which isn’t to say the couple’s physical affection wasn’t real but it’s all a little too coincidental for my liking.

Hi Mina:
That is an interesting picture. Is that the real Southern Star? It almost looks like a drawing. But real or not…I am so scared of heights..I could never get myself on one of them, even a small one!
It’s tomorrow already in your part of the world! Have a great weekend.
Take care

“Iconic landmark viewing platform sex”, “Voyeuristic big wheel photography!” Are these a new fetishes?
19 days, that couple didn’t hang around long.
Prefectdt
Well the fact that the owners don’t seem to have any hang-ups about it could mean a real boost in business for your wheel. But I will have to agree with you that it seems fishy this picture was an ‘accident’. But this does give me another reason to travel to Australia. To see the wheel I mean, not to… well, I mean… well, whatever!
Hugs,
PK
Given the ubiquity of the cell phone camera, I am not surprised that the “event” was recorded. I suppose this is a tame version of the “mile high club.” Myself, I think I would get seasick…
Andrades, it is an artist’s impression of the wheel, most likely done for marketing, however, it does look like that as I go past it everyday since I work in the city. I haven’t been on it though and due to our high temperatures of last week (over 40C for four days) something has buckled and it has been closed for business.
Prefectdt, I am sure not all Brits are so inhibited *wink*. I think they could be new fetishes indeed but frankly he deserves a spanking. Hmm, that would make a fun story…and Aussie adventure to return to perhaps. “Journo spanked on Southern Star”
PK, the owners probably wouldn’t have a problem when they are getting free sex shows through the onboard cctv! Yes, an excellent reason and you could make the papers for the first American couple to get amorous on the Aussie wheel.
Wystan, true, cameras are everywhere these days. Still, I can’t help but wonder. Apparently when this happened on the London Eye, they called it the Mile Eye Club. Seasick? Just close your eyes and hang on for dear life…grins.
Hugs for all

The Spanking Writers once posted about how Abel spanked Haron on the London Eye.

Hermione, thanks for that info, I had wondered if a spanking had taken place and it is good to know spanking enthusiasts are making it their business to spank anywhere, anytime.
Hugs

Brilliant! Spanking on a big Wheel
What about 100 hard with the Brush for someone?
How much fun would that be as the wheel went round!
Darren, sounds like enormous fun to me! But then anything to do with words like, hairbrush, hard, hundred sound like enormous fun to me.
Happily hairbrushing
Mina
